It is our greatest pleasure is to welcome new families into the Little Mish community every year!
We are able to accept about 16 children in each Twos Program (with some of those spaces taken each year by siblings) – though each class has only 12 children daily, with three teachers. There are 2, 3, 4, and 5 day options. The Twos/Threes and Threes Program have from 12-15 children. There are 3, 4, and 5 day options. Some of these spots will be filled by current students from the 2s program. In our 3s/4s and PreK/K programs we accept up to 15 children. The Director and teachers discuss the suitability of children for the various programs and allocate a spot based on their assessment.
While we are never able to accept everyone who applies we really do make an effort to keep our admissions process casual and welcoming, (no essays!) and we look forward to meeting your family!
We hope the following information helps you understand our admissions process:
ELIGIBILITY
Your child must be 2 years old by September 1st of the incoming year to be eligible for our 2s Program. Your child does not need to be potty trained! For the 3s program, a child can be 3 any time up until December 15 of the year of entry.
Please note that our school is non-denominational. All are welcome to apply. We do give preference to siblings of alumni. Applications must be received prior to scheduled tours to obtain priority in our selection process. We do not discriminate on the basis of race religion or any other criteria.
Health forms need to be submitted showing your child is fully vaccinated.

Summer Program – APPLICATION
There is NO application fee.
SCHOOL VISITS
We will contact you and schedule a School Visit. On these visits you and your child will spend time in the classroom as well as time with the Director. Your child can play while the Director gives a description of the program. There is no formal interview – these school visits are our chance to get to know you and your child! We do ask that both parents attend where possible.
NOTIFICATION & DEPOSITS
Acceptances and requests for deposit are sent out shortly after the tours. We have early admission, so you can secure your spot shortly after you tour. If you are not ready to commit at that point, acceptances are sent out in February of the incoming year. If we do not have a spot for your child at the time you request, we will add you to the waitlist. Changes often occur, and in that case parents on the waiting list will be contacted. You will be asked to sign an annual contract and submit your deposit to secure the space.
Your deposit consists of two months tuition. Deposits are non-refundable on early withdrawal from the program. This deposit is applied to your last two months of tuition or applied to the Summer Program if you wish. There is a one-time Materials Fee of $800 payable prior to your first tuition payment.
